We just released our FIFTH issue of Film Cred’s monthly zine, titled FUTURE CRED – where we take a look at robots and futurism in film, from 1995’s HACKERS to the fembots of Austin Powers and Stepford. It’s a great issue that you can read right now by signing up to be a patron.
All that said, we want to show off a little and make our first issue, from back in September, open for anyone to read! We hope you love it!

And finally, a reminder: any money that comes from this our zine goes directly to paying the writers. We have no other expenses and we fully cover the website’s operating fees on our own. If we somehow make more than the initial $200 we need to cover the 20 articles a month we plan to publish, we will raise the rate.
So – why become a patron of Film Cred?
You should contribute if you want to, but know that we will never throw our writer’s articles behind a paywall. In the end, it more important that they are able to have their writing on the website, where they can use it for their portfolio, rather than hidden.
That said, we still want patrons to have perks. To start, we have a Thank You page on our website listing everyone who’s a patron and access to our Discord group. On top of that, our $5 and up tier includes access to our monthly zine. And to be honest, the zine is awesome.
